NIGERIA nominee for Director-General of World Trade Organisation (WTO), Delta-born Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has said if elected, she would bring wealth of experience to bear at the WTO.

Okonjo-Iweala in a press briefing at Geneva on Wednesday, said, who urged the organisation to make their choice based on merit, expressed confidence in her abilities to transform the organisation.

Okonjo-Iweala who is contesting the position with candidates from Mexico, Egypt, Moldova, Republic of Korea, Kenya, UK and Saudi Arabia, said, “ The WTO needs leadership and I’m someone with a strong managerial capability with the ability to forge consensus and reforms.
