X-Raying Anwuzia’s Devt Strides In Aniocha South

DETERMINED not to ignore the physical and infrastructural development of the council area, even in the face of the health emergency in the country occasioned by the Covid 19 pandemic, the Aniocha South Local government council is not relenting in its efforts at constructing roads and other physical infrastructures that will make life better for the people of the area.

To this end, the Chairman of Aniocha South, Chief Isaac Anwuzia through his good relationship with the governor, attracted the construction of the nearly completed Umuneze – Council road projects, Event Center and the Council Restaurant projects amongst others.

The Council road project, which is long overdue is a very significant project owing to the several public buildings located along the road, provides access opportunity to public servants and motorists plying the road.

Some of the public buildings include: the new Area Commander’s office of the Nigeria Police, the Aniocha South local government council Secretariat, ongoing council Restaurant, the ongoing Event center, Health center, Union Bank Plc , to the old Post office building amongst others.

Remarkably, the said Event center strategically located along the said Council road will make prospective couple’s wedding a dream come true.

But apart from wedding ceremonies, a serene environment housing the Event center is also designed for other anniversary celebrations, birthdays, conferences, end of the year parties, schools graduation ceremonies etc.

The centre also provide enough parking space, good security network, spacious sitting capacity and good public relations care to offer prospective customers a good value for their money.

Apparently, in his inaugural address, Chief Isaac Anwuzia elucidated more on his policy thrust even as he promised to complete abandoned projects, embarked on new ones and create avenues for more jobs in a bid to expand the development of the council area.

A man of his words, Chief Isaac Anwuzia who holds a Master’s degree from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University popularly called Unizik, had been working round the clock in ensuring that he marches his words with action to take the local government area to the new level.

The goal-oriented Chairman, Anwuzia, has indeed proved beyond reasonable doubt that he is the peoples leader who keeps his words and fulfills his electioneering campaign promises.

Since his inauguration as Council Chairman, Anwuzia has embarked in the construction and rehabilitation of several physical and road infrastructures to improve the socio-economic situation in the council area.

He paid glowing tribute to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the approval and construction of the council road.

The council boss described Governor Okowa as the father of the local government and the state in general, stressing that the governor has done a lot to the physical development of Aniocha South LGA.

He particularly thanked Governor Okowa and his team including his wife for their proactive measures in protecting Deltans against the Corona virus pandemic, especially the provision of palliatives to Deltans, and prayed for their quick recovery from the ravaging Corona virus infection.

The chairman noted that every decision taking by the Okowa administration in respect of the dreaded Corona virus pandemic was to stop the spread of the disease, revive the state economy and to alleviate the plight of the people.

He lauded the state government and other donors both at the state and local government level for their assistance in cushioning the effects of the disease, and urged Deltans to comply with the protocols of wearing their face masks, washing their hands in a running water and keeping social distance from others.

Anwuzia who also holds the Nagbasei traditional title of Ogwashi-uku expressed the hope that the global pandemic will soon be a thing of the past, adding that nothing last forever.

From all indications, the council boss has a proper grasp of what he is elected for and at the end of his tenure, he is poised to leave the local government better than he met it.

So, let us give him the necessary support.
