THE Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said the total number of infections in Nigeria is now 63,036.
The NCDC disclosed this on its verified Twitter handle on Monday night.
According to the NCDC, the country recorded 72 new cases of COVID-19.
It said, “On the 2nd of November 2020, 72 new confirmed cases and 1 death was recorded in Nigeria.
“Till date, 63,036 cases have been confirmed, 59,328 cases have been discharged and 1,147 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
“The 72 new cases are reported from 9 states- Lagos (51), FCT (6), Ogun (4), Kaduna (3), Niger (2), Ondo (2), Plateau (2), Katsina (1), Oyo (1).”
47,326,715 cases, 1,211,421 deaths and 34,035,878 recoveries of COVID-19 have been recorded in the world.
