Robert Edijala hails from Ethiope West and has a BSC/Ed. He is the CEO of Eddibert & Sons. Being one of the pioneers of the Delta State Government’s Youth Agricultural Entrepreneurs Programme (YAGEP), he enrolled in the programme in 2015/2015 cycle.
Though, trained and established in Piggery, Robert diversified to oil palm plantation development and has made tremendous progress. He shares his story.
“From 10 pigs in 2015, I now have 62 pigs.
“The highest number I had at a time was 116 pigs. I expanded my piggery pens from 10 to 40 pens. I am doing well by all standards.
“I diversified to oil palm development. I mill and sell palm oil. The business is lucrative. From the proceeds of my business, I provide for my family.
“Through the support of my wife, I have acquired several plots of land.
“In addition, I bought a car; I built a house and have tenants in them. I currently have two employees. YAGEP made me an entrepreneur.
