THE Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ndokwa West Local Government Chapter, Ogbuefi Lucky Okuji, has charged members of Campaign Committee for the March 6, 2021 local government elections in Delta to ensure victory for all the candidates.
Okuji gave the charge on Monday while inaugurating members of Ndokwa West PDP Campaign Committee at Utagba-Uno.
According to him, members of the Campaign Committee were carefully selected based on their antecedents in delivering on assignments given to them.
While expressing confidence in the ability of members of the Campaign Committee to deliver the candidates, Okuji added that the candidates for the elections are good products that will be easy to market.
“It is a thing of joy to be here to inaugurate this all important Committee.
“Chairman of the Campaign Committee, Chief Monday Onyeme and members of the Committee were carefully selected and I urge all of you not to fail in meeting with your mandate.
“Leaader of our great party, our Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has greatly made your work easier because, he has empowered a lot of persons and executed projects that have endeared our party to the people.
“We are all aware that Chief Obi Nzete is the candidate of our party for the Chairmanship position.
“Nzete is well known by the people, he is experienced, endowed in several areas and a grassroots man, so, we should work to ensure a landslide victory for him and all the candidates for the councillorship positions.”
Secretary of the PDP in the state, Engr. Dan Ossai lauded the unity that exist in the party in the area.
Responding on behalf of members of the Committee, Chief Onyeme expressed confidence that the PDP will record unprecedented victory in the election.
Chief Nzete, thanked members of the Committee for showing commitment towards his victory, assuring that he will not disappoint the people of Ndokwa West.
Members of the Committee which has Barr. Ernest Ogwezzy as Secretary include, Hon. Charles Emetulu, Chief Festus Ochonogor, Hon. Azuka Azaka, Chief Chris Osakwe, Hon. Aneke Ifemeni, Hon. Ken Nwaomucha, Comrade Fidelis Egugbo, Dennis Okoh, Chief Ifeanyi Eze, Ossai Ovie Success, Christian Onwugbolu, among others.
