THE member representing Ndokwa West Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Charles Emetulu has felicitated with the Governor of Delta State, Sen. (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa and all Deltans on the auspicious occasion of Delta at 29.
Hon. Emetulu thanked God for carrying and protecting Delta State in the “Hollow of His Palms.”
While appreciating the founding fathers and all former administrators and governors of the state for their contributions to the growth of the State, the legislator singled out Sen. (Dr.) Okowa for his sterling leadership qualities which he has brought to bear in steering the ship of Delta State.
He was full of praise for the managerial acumen the governor has shown in terms of management of men and resources in turning Delta State around, even in a period of financial crisis and COVID-19 pandemic.
The legislator commended the governor for his infrastructural development of the state.
He mentioned legacy projects like the gigantic and befitting new state Secretariat Complex, the Stephen Keshi International Stadium, the Asaba International Airport, the new Ogbeogonogo market, the revolution in the education sector, particularly in the Vocational and Technical Education sub-sector, several entrepreneurship development programs, thousands of kilometres of roads constructed and rehabilitated, hands-on approach in the health sector and many others as pointers to the fact that Governor Okowa has already left his footprints in the Delta State sands of time.
Emetulu wished all Deltans a very warm and hearty anniversary and admonished, “we should safe in line with the new normal as we celebrate.”
