The Delta State Government has assured the security agencies in the state of its continued support in order for them to carry out their core mandate of securing life and properties in the state.
Secretary to the Delta State Government (SSG), Chief Patrick Ukah, gave this assurance when he hosted service commanders of the various security agencies in the states as part of the 62 independence celebration in his official residence in Asaba.

In his remarks, the Chief of Staff, Government House, Asaba, Rt. Hon Festus Ovie Agas, commended the service commanders for their selfless sacrifice in ensuring that peace and security in the state is sustained.
The Delta State Police Commissioner, Mr. Ari Mohammed Ali, who spoke on behalf of the service commanders, thanked the state government for hosting them and assured that they will continue to do their best to make the state safe and secured for the residents.
Others who spoke paid glowing tributes to the service commanders and enjoined them to maintain the tempo of peace and security in the state.
