The Delta State People’s Democratic Party, PDP under the leadership of Olorogun Kingsley Esiso, has inaugurated Ward and Local Government Areas Caretaker Committee.
The inauguration took place on Tuesday at the State Party’s Secretariat, Asaba.
The inauguration became necessary in line with the party’s guidelines and constitution, after the extra ordinary National Executive Council meeting in Abuja.
The party resolved to have three months caretaker committee before having elected congress.
Esiso, while inaugurating the committees, charged its members to worki in synergy with all members and leaders of the party in order to promote unity and strengthen the party structure at the grassroot.
He said that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is very committed and ready to carry everyone along, because he is a governor for all.
He congratulated all local government party chairmen and their executives, as well the Wards executive members for a successful inauguration.
