THE Executive Assistant to Delta Governor, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa on Health Monitoring, Dr. (Pharm.) Nelson Ejakpovi, has commiserated with Governor Okowa, over the passage of his father, Pa Arthur Okorie Okowa.
Ejakpovi in an interview, observed that though, Pa Okowa passed on at the age of 88, his passage was a great loss based on his wise counsel and the stabilising roles he was playing in his community and the state.
“Pa. Okowa was our father, not just the Governor’s.
“This is certainly, a grieving period in the family of our Governor and our prayers are with them.
“Death came like a thief and snatched Pa Okowa; he was a great man, a mentor to a lot of persons and his carriage was inspiring.
“On behalf of my family and political associates, I most sincerely, condole our Governor and members of his family.
“May God grant them the fortitude to bear the loss. Amen.”
