CHAIRMAN of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Delta State, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso, has commended Nigerians for deciding to thumbprint the umbrella logo in the 2023 general elections.
Addressing prospective voters on Wednesday at PDP rallies in Ughelli North and Isoko South Local Government Areas of Delta State, Esiso observed that the eagerness of Nigerians to vote out the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidates in the forthcoming elections was a clear sign that the people are tired of bad leadership.
He said, “the large turnout of people at our rallies shows that Nigerians are ready to get it right in 2023 by voting out the bad government of APC.
“APC is synonymous with hardship, hike in fuel price, price of foodstuffs beyond the reach of the common man, there is hunger in Nigeria because of APC.
“Nigeria has become the poverty Headquarter of the world and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa have come to recover Nigeria from APC and reset it to be progressive again.
“A vote for the PDP is a vote against hunger, a vote for progress, a vote for a better Nigeria, so, thank you for choosing to vote for PDP all-the-way.”
A former gubernatorial aspirant of the party, Olorogun Fred Majemite, Senator Stella Omu, Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie-Agas, Hon. George Oyefia, and others who spoke at the rally, observed that the campaign rally was to showcase credibility and appreciate the personalities who are flying the PDP flag in the next elections.
They noted that PDP will clinch the ticket in the elections.
Vice Presidential candidate of the PDP, Senator, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governorship candidate of the PDP in the State, and his running mate, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and Chief Monday Onyeme respectively were among the candidates of the party who attended the rallies.
