Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate for House of Representatives, Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency, Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi has commended the youths for actively participating in Nigeria’s democracy.
Ezechi who addressed members of Ndokwa Youth Leaders Assembly, (NYLA) led by its Board of Trustees Chairman, Engr Micheal Anoka on Sunday in Asaba, observed that unlike previous elections, the youths have come out in their large number to be involved in the 2023 general elections.
He said, “it gladdens my heart that the youths are committed to determining their future by coming out to participate in the democraric process.
“I thank members of NYLA, Ndokwa youths for sensitising and mobilising the people, especially, market women to participate in the electoral process.
“As someone who is contesting for an election, I can assure the youths of making them proud at Abuja by ensuring result-oriented representation for Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency.
“Don’t relax in preaching for Nigerians to vote for all the candidates of the PDP so that we can work seamlessly for the good of our people.”
Engr. Anoka had told Hon. Ezechi that members of NYLA will continue to support him and candidates of the PDP, stating that they were mobilizing the people to vote for all the candidates of the PDP.
The President of NYLA, Comr. Travo Ilide, expressed confidence that the PDP will emerge victorious in the elections.
The Publicity Secretary of NYLA, Mr Christian Onwugbolu disclosed that the candidate for House of Assembly, Ukwuani Constituency, Hon. Chukwudi Dafe also, expressed joy with the political reawakening of the youths, noting that, “the good thing is that most of the youths of this country are working for the candidates of the PDP.”
