REV Fr. Hilary Ibegbulem has called on Nigerians to set good examples for those that are looking up to them.
Fr. Igbebulem said that human beings must not pretend like the Pharisees but should be realistic, truthful to be able to set good examples to people.
He noted that Jesus was hard on those who pretended as seen in the Holy Bible when He told His followers to practice what they preach rather than behave like the Pharisees who teach whereas, their behaviour is against what they teach.
The Catholic Priest who was delivering Homily at the Catholic Church of the Ascension, Asaba, added that not caring for what people would say has a bad consequences as it kills spiritually, the followers and admirers.
“What we say, what we do and how we do it matters a lot because as Jesus was hard on the Pharisees, He can also be hard on us for not leading in the best way properly for others,” the Priest said.
The Holy Mass featured thanksgiving by parishioners.
