REV. Fr. Victor Ijeh, has admonished Christians to always rely on God, no matter the challenges they may encounter in the journey of life.
The Priest made the call on Sunday morning while delivering a homily. at the Catholic Church of the Ascension, Asaba, Delta State.
According to him, God is capable of proffering solutions to all challenges, noting that Christians should never waver in their faith in God.
“In God’s presence, you get the fullness of joy; seek the Lord while He may be found, because tomorrow may be too late.
“Whatever your challenge, have you spoken to God about it?
“Always remember, ‘my help shall come from God who made heaven and earth.’
“Do not rely on man, man may fail you, God will not fail you.
“Seek the face of God, instead of the face of idol; no matter what you encounter in life, seek the Lord, seek Him now for it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to put your trust in man.
“God fulfills His promise; so, seek the face of God, because one with God is majority.
“Without God, you are nothing; live a righteous life always, death can come at any time, always look up to God.
“Let the wicked forsake his ways, and do not judge because you may never know when the other person repented from his sins.
“We should know that seeking God’s face, relying on God always, will grant us eternal life,” Rev. Fr. Ijeh who is the Associate Priest of the Parish said.
The service featured special child presentation thanksgiving of Kosisochi Gerladine Eregbuonye, daughter of Barr and Mrs. Obi Eregbuonye.
