REV. Fr. Victor Ijeh, has admonished Christians to always look up to God no matter the challenges they encounter.
The Priest gave the admonition at the Catholic Church of the Ascension, Asaba, on Sunday, while delivering the homily.
According to him, “we should always know that man proposes but, God disposes.
“In Christ, you are already successful, so, no matter the situation, praise the Lord; no matter the travail, know that the Lord is with you.
“No matter what people say, no matter how you feel, know that God is always there for you; it is God all through.
“Without Him, you labour in vain.
“Always say, ‘Father, let your will be done.’
“Always bear in mind that God has better plans for you, plans for you to succeed; so, you must submit yourself to Him, it is not your will but, His will.
“Because He lives, you can face tomorrow; in any position you find yourself, stop and praise God.”
At the celebration of the Holy Mass, Mr and Mrs Celestine Ezeibekwe tied the nuptial knot.
Fr. Ijeh who joined them as husband and wife, amidst cheers and tears of joy from the congregation, noted that there are bound to be challenges in marriage but, the couple should always submit themselves to God.
