A former NBA Aguata branch Chairman, Sabastine Anyia Esq has joined the call, urging the Joint admission and matriculation Board, JAMB to apologise to miss Mmesoma Ejikeme.
In a statement sent to newsmen in Awka and made available to our correspondent on Tuesday, the former NBA Boss said “JAMB must stop insulting Nigerians.
The JAMB board can not call a result they released by themselves fake or forged. If they are incapable of organizing such an important examination they should be scrapped.
“We’ve heard and seen so many incidences where a candidate with 187 points as released by JAMB after a week the same candidate will be having 287 and the one with 362 will be having 349 from the same JAMB board.
“I’ve looked at this issue critically using the legal eyes and mind, I make bold to state emphatically that this young girl did not forge her JAMB result as she has no power to do so.
“Assuming but not conceding that she has the power to do so. She already had 249 according to JAMB, any University in Nigeria can offer her admission so what is the need to forge it.
“Again, how could she have known that 362 will be the highest scores in this Year JAMB result to put her scores at 362. JAMB is only labouring hard to tarnish this innocent girl reputation. We must get to the bottom of this blackmail.
“To me this is a National embarrassment that should be taken seriously. People who are not fit to carry out this very important function should not be entrusted with it. From the head to the least staff in this board should be investigated. We cannot be made a laughing stuck to other countries.
“You released results and after a couple of weeks you turned around and said the result was forged. Is it this small innocent girl that forged it or your dubious staff that forged it. I ask for a detailed investigation.
“Don’t forget that it’s the same JAMB that told us few years ago that snake swallowed #36million in their office. Now they are out with this one believing that we are going to swallow it like we did in the #36 million snake saga. To them in our country anything goes.”
