REV. Fr. John Konyeke will on Saturday, September 10, 2022, mark his 15th Priestly ordination anniversary with Thanksgiving Mass.
A statement signed by Hon. Lady Colina Anazia, Comrade Fidelis Egugbo and Mr Joseph Konyeke, Chairman, Secretary and member of the organising committee respectively for the event, disclosed that the Thanksgiving Mass will take place at St. Felix Catholic Church, Ejeme-Aniogor, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to the statement, the Thanksgiving Mass which is expected to attract people of all walks of life to Ejeme-Aniogor, will have the Bishop of Issele-Uku Diocese of the Catholic Church, Most Rev. Dr. Michael Odogwu Elue as Chief Host.
“We are happy to say that by the grace of God Almighty, we are set to give thanks to God for sustaining Rev. Fr. John Maduabunechukwu Konyeke as a Priest for the past fifteen years.
“The Thanksgiving Mass which will hold at St. Felix Catholic Church, Ejeme-Aniogor in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State will be closely followed by a reception at the same venue.
“The Holy Mass which is expected to commence at 11 am is expected to draw people from far and near, people who are lovers of the priesthood, friends of Fr. John, Priests, Catholic faithful, especially, those from Agbor, Ascension Catholic Church and St. Johnbosco Catholic Church, Asaba.
“We want to appreciate those who are working tirelessly behind the scene with prayers and in several other ways for a successful ceremony.
“In particular, we thank the Chairman of occasion, Chief Augustus Boaz El-Bethel, the Owelle of Ejeme Kingdom and Chairman, Energy Giants Group, United States of America; the Father of the Day, a former Head of Service, Delta State, Sir Okey Ofili and the Mother of the Day, HRM Patricia Uju Onyia, Queen Of Odekpe Kingdom, Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State.
