AS people arrive Asaba, the Delta State capital city for this year’s edition of Maris Annual Public Service Lecture, an Abuja-based businessman cum politician, Mr Chuks Agidigbo, has urged organisers of the lecture to prepare for large turnout of people.
Mr Agidigbo, in a message sent to Maris Trust Council, organisers of the annual lecture, noted that the topic for discussion, “Selfless Service: A Phenomenal Virtue” would attract people of all walks of life to the lecture.
Agidigbo, who has touched a lot of lives with his philanthropic gestures commended the choice of Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas as Guest Speaker, adding that the discussants have a lot to offer based on their experiences in their chosen fields.
“I congratulate Maris Trust Council for providing a forum, a rare platform for people to engage in intellectual discourse; platform for people to be challenged to bring out their best knowing that their efforts will not go unnoticed.
“When it comes to selflessness, it is what should be imbibed in the society knowing that even when people do not recognise your efforts, our God will certainly reward you at the right time.
“Congratulations and have a successful outing,” Mr Agidigbo, Chairman MEDAST Limited said.
Wednesday, April 13, 2022 is billed for the lecture which will take place at Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba, Delta State at 12 noon.
Secretary to Maris Trust Council, Comrade Fidelis Egugbo, has expressed confidence that no stone would be left unturned for the lecture to be successful.
He commended those who already arrived Asaba for the lecture and wished others safe journey to the ancient town by the famous River Niger that has been transformed to tourism destination of the world by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa administration.
