The Maris Trust Council, MTC, has congratulated the Provost, Delta State College of Health Technology, Ofuoma, Ughelli, Dr. Augustina Erah on her birthday anniversary.
A statement signed by the Secretary, MTC, Comrade Fidelis Egugbo, described Erah as someone who has proven that women can make great difference if given the opportunity to serve.
He said, “Today, we join the family, friends and admirers of the Provost, Delta State College of Health Technology, Ofuoma, Ughelli, Dr. (Mrs) Augustina Erah as she celebrates her birthday anniversary.
“Erah, it could be recalled, was the only female among the discussants at the year 2023 edition of Maris Annual Public Service lecture series held at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba.
“The lecture titled, ‘Provision Of Infrastructure As Catalyst For Growth Of Democratic Governments,’ was delivered by a renowned banker, philantropist and political tactician, Sir Fidelis Okenmor Tilije.
“It was a participatory lecture that also had Dr. Festus Okubor, Dr. Paul Oweh, Comrade Olumami Oyibo as discussants and moderated by Dr. Kemi Emina.
“The immediate past Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, Dr. Gabriel Ogbechie, Lady Esther Elue, Rev. Fr. John Konyeke, Chief Nkem Okwuofu, Dr Kingsley Emu, Mr Cyril Agbele, among others, attended the lecture.
“Dr. Erah is from Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State; a Christian who possesses good analytical and counseling skills.
“She is very passionate about achieving desired results in whatever she is involved in and, of course, can work under pressure in a team or as an individual for such results to be achieved.
“As a Ph.D holder in Microbiology, she is health safety-conscious and ensures a healthy environment wherever she finds herself.
“She is a dutiful wife and blessed with children.

MTC prayed that the Almighty God would grant Erah longer life, good health and strength to keep serving God and humanity.
