THE Maris Trust Council (MTC), has commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State for going for the best in delivering on his electoral mandates.
MTC in a congratulatory message for the successful swearing in of former Nigerian Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Ambassador Godson Echegile, OFR, as Chairman/Pro-Chancellor, Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro, observed that Ambassador Echegile will use his wealth of experience to change positively, the fortunes of the university.
According to the statement signed by the Secretary of the Trust Council, Comrade Fidelis Egugbo, getting Ambassador Echegile to be the Chairman/Pro-Chancellor of the University was a clear indication of how committed Governor Okowa is to ensuring that he gets capable hands to assist him in delivering dividends of democracy to Deltans.
