The Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon Prince Godwin Ogorugba has sworn-in Akpoedafe Thomas, Odbibi Anthony, Alebe Joshua and Egwu Alakpodia Oghenero as Supervisors with a charge on them to be diligent, effective and proactive in their service to the people.
The Supervisors were immediately sworn in after they were screened by the legislative arm led by Hon Pascal Emeluaha.
Inaugurating the Supervisors at the Council Secretariat in Ozoro, on Thursday, Ogorugba said “those of you appointed today were carefully selected from your respective places.
“So, you must be diligent and committed to duty in order to achieve the MORE Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori. Your appointment is to create value not bad blood”
“We are here to make a difference and tell the people that the local government can do something for them.”
He thanked the political leaders, bureaucratic and religious leaders who made the ceremony and particularly the House leader for the timely screening of the Supervisors.
He later assigned Engr Akpoedafe as Supervisor for Agriculture/Community Development, Comr Joshua Alebe as Environment, Hon Anthony Odhibi Egbere as Health and Safety and Comr Alakpodia Oghenero Egwu as Works.
In a vote of thanks, Engr Akpoedafe Thomas on behalf of the others expressed gratitude to the Chairman and leaders of the party for their appointment and promised to bring their wealth of experience to bare in the discharge of their duties.
