Okowa Has Made Our Campaign Easy – PDP

THE leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta North Senatorial District, has said, the Vice-Presidential candidate of the party for the 2023 general elections, Senator, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, made the campaign for candidates of the party an easy one.

Speaking when the campaign train visited different communities in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State on Monday, those who spoke observed that most Nigerians were waiting to cast their votes on election days because of the antecedents of Senator, Dr. Okowa who is the Governor of the State.

At the rallies which took place at Ozanogogo, Ime-Obi, and Alihagu, they observed that they have been voting for the PDP in the past but now have more reasons to vote for the party.

Senatorial Candidate of the party for Delta North, Prince Ned Nwoko, assured the people that he would work with Vice-President Ifeanyi Okowa to empower the youths to be employers of labour.

“My going to the Senate is driven by the passion to empower our youths, make them to be employers of labour and we will achieve that working closely with our Vice-President, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, so, vote for PDP,” Nwoko said.

The House of Assembly Candidate for Ika South Constituency, Hon. Chukwuyem Festus Okoh, thanked the campaign train for visiting the area, observing that the people were excited that for the first time, Delta State was going to produce the Vice-President and that they would vote for all the candidates of the party.

He stated that the Governor has also, empowered a lot of persons who were ready and willing to mobilize their friends and relatives to vote for the PDP Candidates.

The Chairman of the party in Delta North who is leading the campaign, Elder Moses Iduh, emphasized that Governor Okowa, has done a lot in the area of transforming the communities and would do more as Vice-President.

He thanked the people for believing in Governor Okowa and urged them to vote for all the candidates of the party in the general elections.

In separate interviews, the Chairman of the Local Government Council, Hon. Sunny Tatabuzogwu, said, “we are for Governor Okowa and all PDP candidates 100 percent.

“Our Governor has done well and we are confident that he will do more as Vice-President.”

Also, Mr. Peter Idion, said, “these campaign tours are to fulfill all righteousness as our people are for Governor Okowa, he has done very well, we will vote for all the candidates of the party; we were doing it in the past and now have more reasons and more people to vote for all the candidates of the PDP. ”

Some of those who were at the rallies include, the Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ochor Christopher Ochor, PDP Chieftain, Chief Godwill Obielum, Secretary to the party in the State, Engr. Dan Ossai, Hon. Pascal Adigwe, Nollywood star, and wife of Prince Ned Nwoko, Regina Daniel, among others.
