THE Okpanam Youths Organisation (OYO), has commiserated with Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa of Delta State over the death of his father, Pa Okorie Okowa.
Pa Okorie Okowa passed on peacefully in the early hours of last week Thursday.
OYO in a statement jointly signed by its President and Secretary, Comrades Friday Chiedu Okonkwo and James Amechi Omunizua respectively, noted that the deceased lived an impactful life.
“As a teacher, he moulded characters; he contributed immensely to the development of the society.
“As a retired educationist, he did not leave his community, rather he put his wealth of experience to ensure a stable community and as a Knight of the Anglican Communion, there is no doubt that his wise counsel will be missed.
“Though, no matter when it occurs, the death of a loved one is always painful, but, Pa Okowa, passed on.
“At 88 years and the oldest man in his quarters, we at OYO can only thank God for giving humanity, a great man in Pa Okowa, a man whom he used to give Delta a smart Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa.
“To our Governor, as a people you have greatly changed the landscape of our community through the execution of projects, the youths of Okpanam identify with you and your family in this grieving period.
“We pray for the repose of the soul of your father and urge you to reminisce on his life and times and take solace in the fact that his foot prints will remain for a long time on the sands of time.”
Please how can I send Anioma Congress condolence message to you?
