Delta Deputy Governor-Elect, Monday Onyeme, has underscored the imperatives of collaborative efforts in the task of the developing the State.
Onyeme who spoke during a courtesy visit by Lions Club, said Delta will be better if everyone contributed positively to its development.
Onyeme disclosed that Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration will do MORE for Deltans, and stressed the role of Deltans in ensuring a conducive atmosphere for government to deliver democracy dividends.
He observed that with the massive votes received from across Delta for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration will meet the yearnings of the people.
His words, “We are all aware that the higher we climb the ladder of life, the higher the opportunity to serve the less privileged.
“So, we are not going to sideline anybody, we should take this as a collective responsibility for us to meet with the aspirations of the people across the state.”
Lion Okey Ofili, congratulated Monday Onyeme for emerging as Deputy Governor-Elect of Delta State and urged him to rely on the tenets of Lions club in carrying out his activities in the state.
In a related development, members of De Saint International Club led by the Mayor, De Saint Club, Jossy Honnah, also felicitated with the Deputy Governor-elect.
