Deputy Governor of Delta State, Chief Sir Monday Onyeme has said that Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration enjoys the support of most Deltans.
Chief Onyeme spoke at his residence on Tuesday in Asaba when Chief Ifeanyi Obi, former Chairman, National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Delta State paid him a visit.
According to Onyeme, Oborevwori’s administration enjoys the support of most Deltans and he will not relent in working for Deltans.
He said, “Delta is one and they spoke with one voice with their votes and they are happy that Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori emerged as our Governor.
“It shows that the rotation of power is evident in Delta and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is doing well in our state.
“Chief Obi, your visit today is good, we can only assure you that this is a new dawn in our state, a state where there is no discrimination, crime free and progressive,” Onyeme said.
Chief Obi had congratulated Chief Onyeme for his successful inauguration as Deputy Governor of Delta State and urged him to remain who he is and selfless in his activities.
