SECRETARY to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Delta State Council, Engr. Dan Ossai, former member of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. (Barr.) Sam Osasa, the member representing Ndokwa West Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Charles Emetulu, security expert, Barr. Charles Ochonogor and wife, Chief (Mrs) Josephine Ochonogor were among dignitaries that were at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Utagba-Uno, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State on Friday to bid final goodbye to late PDP chieftain, Hon. Albert Nwose.
Also seen in the church were wife of the Commissioner for Education, Mrs Anwuli Ossai, Ogbuagu George Okpala, Ogbuiji Martins Nwose, Chief Ferdinand Ossai, Chief Augustine Enemuwe, Okwa Patrick Egugbo, Mr Celestine Ofuani, the Special Assistant, Media to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Comrade Fidelis Egugbo, Mr Solomon Okenne, Mr Godson Obi, Steve Onyeme, among others.
Delivering a Homily at the funeral Mass which was well attended, Rev. Fr. Ezekiel Oiseh, described the deceased as a gentleman who served God with what he had.
According to the Priest, Hon. Nwose belonged to God and he enjoined Christians to always prepare for their death as no one can predict the last day.
He said, “our brother, Hon. Albert Nwose was a gentleman, he belonged to God.
“Jesus went to prepare a place for those who belonged to Him and we are confident that God has taken our brother to Himself.
“Let us tell ourselves that someday, we will die; the question is, are we prepared for our death?
“Long life may not be enough but a good life is wonderfully enough.
“We all must endeavour to live well and once we live well, we have lived enough and confident of making heaven.”
