A renowned politician, Olorogun John Oguma, has assured the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, that the crowd seen at the campaign rally would translate to votes on election days.
Oguma stated that most of those who are attending the rally have their Voters’ Cards and are eligible to vote.
Oguma spoke on Thursday at the PDP rally held at Otu-Jeremi, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The rally was attended by the Vice-Presidential candidate of the PDP and Governor of Delta State, Senator, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the Governorship candidate of the party, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and his running mate, Sir Monday Onyeme, other candidates of the party for other elective positions and party faithful.
He said, “Today, you can see the crowd gathered here at this rally, it shows that the PDP is on ground.
“Most of the people here have their Voters’ Cards; they are not hired crowd and there is nothing much to say as we will speak on election day with our Voters’ Cards by thumbprinting the umbrella logo.
“We shall vote for Atiku/Okowa, Sheriff/Onyeme, Ighoyota Amori for Senate, Awhinawhi for House of Representatives, and Festus Utuama for House of Assembly; so, expect 100 percent votes for the PDP.
“PDP is on ground in Ughelli South and we are happy to be working for the PDP.”
The Director of the Campaign Council in the State, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon thanked the people for belonging to the PDP.
