THE Delta North Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will on Friday, take its Ward-to-Ward campaign for the 2023 general elections to the home town of the Vice Presidential candidate of the party, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
Newsden reliably gathered on Thursday evening that following the successful campaign tour of Aniocha North, Aniocha South and Ika South Local Government Areas of Delta State, all arrangements have been concluded for the campaign train to move to Ika North-East Local Government Area of the state.
The State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa who is the Vice Presidential candidate of the PDP hails from Ika North-East local government area.
The first point of call by the campaign council would be Ward 6 at the Town Hall, Owa Ekei and from there, move to Ward 5 at Owanta Aliosimi Town Hall, Aliosimi.
Also on Friday, the campaign council will meet residents of Ward 1 at Back of Owa Palace Oyibo and meet those in Ward 10 at Catholic Church premises, Idumuesah, while those in Ward 2 will be met at Ehomm, Owa Alero.
The Deputy Governorship candidate of the PDP in the state, Chief Monday Onyeme, is expected to lead the campaign which will also have the Senatorial Candidate of the party, Prince Ned Nwoko and the House of Representatives candidate for Ika Federal Constituency, Hon. Victor Nwokolo, among others.
