THE Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ndokwa West chapter, led by Ogbuefi Lucky Okuji, has condoled with the Deputy Governorship candidate of the party in the state, Chief Monday Onyeme on the death of his mother-in-law, Mrs Christiana Egege-Gold.
Okuji who was seen at Chief Onyeme’s residence at Asaba, expressed shock at the passage of Mrs Egege-Gold.
In a chat with Newsden, Okuji said, “death of a loved one is always a big blow.
“Mrs Egege-Gold is a mother whose love for Chief Onyeme and his family was evident with the way she frequently visited and spent time with her grand-children.
“We pray that God will give Chief Onyeme, his wife, Ezinne Catherine Onyeme and members of the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss.
“I thank the early callers, especially, Chairman of our party in the Senatorial District, Elder Moses Iduh who led members of our party from their Senatorial meeting at Ogwashi-Uku straight to Chief Onyeme’s residence.
“The member representing us at the House of Assembly, Hon. Charles Emetulu and his wife and several politicians and Chief Onyeme’s associates and relations have been around and we thank them for the condolence visits.”
