THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ndokwa West chapter, has described the late Hon. Albert Nwose as a consummate politician who distinguished himself as a team player.
A statement signed by the Chairman of the party in the area, Ogbuefi Lucky Okuji and made available to newsmen in Asaba, Delta State, stated that Hon. Nwose’s passage has created a vacuum in Onicha-Ukwuani, Ward 5.
Hon. Nwose died after a brief illness at the Asaba Specialist Hospital. He was aged 73 according to reliable family sources.
Ogbuefi Okuji said, “the news about the death of Hon. Albert Nwose came as a shock to most of us in the PDP family.
“He was a true gentleman, a reliable party man who was one of the leaders of our party in Ward 5, Ndokwa West Local Government Area.
“We recall when he was the Secretary to the local government Council, how he discharged his duties professionally, he will surely be missed.
“We commiserate with the family he left behind. We pray that God will grant them the fortitude to bear the loss and that He should also, in His infinite mercy, accept the soul of Hon. Albert Nwose through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.”
The deceased spent most of his life time in Lagos as a business man before coming back to Ndokwa West to engage in active politics on the platform of the PDP.
In his reaction, Chief Kenneth Olise, stated, “this is a personal loss to me, Hon. Nwose was a trusted friend and I will surely miss him.”
As at the time of filing this report, sympathisers were visiting his residence in their large numbers at Ugiliamai, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State.
