THE Pipeline Products Marketing Company (PPMC) has fixed N151.56 as the new pump price of petrol.
PPMC in a memo with ref: “PPMC /IB/LS/020, dated September 2, 2020, signed by Head Depot Manager, D.O. Agbalaya stated that the effective date for the implementation of the new pump price is September 2, 2020.
“A new product price adjustment has been effected on our payment platform.
“To this end the price of premium motor spirit (PMS) is now one hundred and fifty one naira, fifty six kobo (N151.61) per litre.
“This is effective from September 2, 2020,” he said.
Newsden gathered that most petrol stations are dispensing petroleum to the general public at N161 per litre.
“The N151 is depot price, what they are selling to drivers is N161 per litre,” a transporter said.
